flash games freezing

My sound messes up when I play cod2 on my pc and i cant play flash games either?
it makes this weird sound first then tottally freezes.
Does it have to do with your computer?
Check the CD case to see the listed requirements and make sure that your comp. is fast enough to run the program. I had the same problem with my mac playing COD2 a week ago, but I was able to fix the glitch.
