how old do i have to be to get sponsored in flash game?
im 14, i made a pretty fun flash game that someone would definately have a nonexclusive license for, but i dont know if im in the age limit, can anyone be sponsored? do i have to be 18+? do i need to use my parents checking account? whoever answers my question first gets 10 pts
I reckon that it all depends on who’s sponsoring, I would be surprised if anything went through a checking account. They will most likely want a W-9 (google it if you’re not sure what a W-9 is) if it’s over $600 I believe, in this you will need you SS#, which goes down to do you trust the sponsor. About the age, it shouldn’t matter if the game is good, you should be able to do it fairly idependently. Just use caution with who you’re dealing with on the internet.
