What is Wii? This is a gaming console which has the latest features in gaming and entertainment. The whole console is very light and weighs a feeble 1.2 kg. Thus, the lightest among the 7th generation consoles, the Nintendo Wii is however the heaviest in qualities.
This console is made keeping in mind the needs of the gamer and it houses the user interface in the form of television channels. When one starts the system then he will see a grid containing the six primary channels and the optional channels which are available by downloading them from the Wii Shop. These six primary channels are the Disc Channel, the Mii Channel, the Photo Channel, Wii shop Channel, News Channel and the Forecast Channel.
The Disc Channel enables a user to play the Wii discs as the Nintendo Wii is backwards, compatible with the Nintendo GameCube. The greatest feature is perhaps the Mii channel. This is a very interesting and entertaining feature where gamers can create 3D caricatures of themselves which get displayed as game characters. Hence a user can see his own caricature dealing out a knockout punch in a boxing game or serving an ace in a tennis game.
The Photo Channel is also another interesting feature in this console. In this feature, the gamer can upload his photos in the console and watch them in his television screen. This is not the only feature as there are many other things that the gamer can do with these photos. He can enhance the beauty of his photographs by modifying them using major effects like brightening and changing them into black and white. There are also special effects like zap and hard-boiled. The gamer can also arrange his photos in a puzzle and he can also share them with his friends as this console has the capability of using the Internet. This is made possible by the presence of a Wi-Fi connection in the console.
The games in the Nintendo Wii are superb. A gamer can play the famous game called Resident Evil 4 and have a bundle of joyous experiences. There are also games like Counter Force as well as Top Spin 3. The former is a 3D “shoot ‘em-up” genre game and has 12 different enemies and 5 different level bosses. The main goal is to rid the earth from the menace of the alien ‘Diadora’. There are 3 robots who are given the task of saving the earth form this alien attack and saving humanity. This is a fantastic game and the user gets a totally different kind of feeling when he plays this game on the Nintendo Wii. The latter is a tennis game and has personifications of famous tennis stars like Roger Federer and Andy Roddick. In the Wii version of this game, the user is given the choice of playing in 40 different venues and the game play is further improved by different motion controls. There are also other games like ‘Protector of Earth’, ‘Super Paper Mario’, ‘Metal Slug Anthology’ and ‘Mario Super Smash Bros’.
The console is also available in cheap prices. There are a number of shopping websites which offer the Nintendo Wii at staggering low prices. Hence the cheap nintendo wii is readily available and the user only has to do extensive surfing to find out the websites which offer this console at a cheap price. The gamer can take the advantage of features at a much lower price and also has a great time playing it in his home alone or with his friends.
Thus, the Wii console is a revelation in the world of gaming and the user irrespective of his age can sit on his sofa and connect the console to his television and thus enjoy. He can acquire a variety of accessories and he can also have a great time on a cheap Nintendo Wii. The Wii is therefore a dream come true for gamers.
