How come I can’t find midis from new video games?
is there some legal reason or has nobody synthesized them yet
MIDI files are typically associated with the older video game soundtracks because it is easier to recreate the sound with MIDI files instead of recording an MP3 file.
Modern video game music is harder to reproduce with MIDI files because of their complexity, being done by an entire orchestra and all that. Plus, most modern video games have soundtracks released, so there really is no need for others to recreate what is already available to purchase.
